Still Typing (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an AI-powered conversation memory application. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app, how it is used, where it may be stored, and the choices available to you.
We use this information to provide app functionality, including authentication, importing conversations, creating and maintaining personas, generating AI replies, retrieving relevant memories, processing images or screenshots, synchronizing eligible app data, restoring user data, managing subscriptions, troubleshooting, and improving reliability where the user has enabled applicable diagnostic or feedback features.
Some text, persona context, memories, and images that you submit may be transmitted through our server infrastructure to third-party AI service providers, including Anthropic, solely to generate or analyze content needed for app features. Anthropic states that inputs and outputs from its commercial API are not used to train its models by default unless the customer explicitly opts in. Anthropic’s standard API retention period is generally up to 30 days, subject to exceptions for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or separately agreed retention arrangements.
Still Typing does not use Telegram-derived conversation data to train or fine-tune AI models.
App data may be stored locally on your device. Where enabled, eligible app data may also be synchronized through Apple iCloud/CloudKit using the user’s private iCloud database so that data can be restored or synchronized across supported devices signed in to the same Apple ID.
Authentication and account-related information may be processed by Supabase. Requests to AI providers may pass through server infrastructure operated using Cloudflare.
You control which conversations, screenshots, photos, and other content you provide to the app. Do not upload content unless you have the right or permission to use it. Imported content is used to provide the features you request, such as persona creation, memory extraction, chat generation, or image understanding.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share or transmit information only as needed to provide app functionality through service providers such as Apple, Supabase, Cloudflare, Anthropic, and other infrastructure providers that support the service, or when required by law, security obligations, or the protection of users and the service.
Locally stored app data remains on your device until it is deleted by you, removed by app functionality, or removed when the app is deleted, unless a synchronized copy exists in an enabled cloud service such as iCloud/CloudKit. Third-party providers may retain information according to their applicable retention policies and contractual terms.
You may delete personas, conversations, or other content using available app controls. You may also stop using the app and delete it from your device. Where account deletion or data-deletion controls are available in the app, you may use those controls to request deletion of applicable account data. You may also disable optional diagnostic or feedback-sharing features where offered.
For data synchronized through iCloud, your data is also subject to your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Still Typing is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Users should comply with the age requirements displayed for the app and with applicable local laws.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
